If your toothache pain is the cause of a lost filling, you can make a temporary filling by chewing a piece of gum on the side that does not hurt, and please use sugar free gum. Once chewed you can take this gum and place it in the hole where the tooth is missing the filling. This will prevent air and food particles form entering your tooth. This is the perfect home remedy and quick fix for a temporary tooth filling.

Use a good mouth rinse that contains peroxide, if you do not have any available, take a glass of water and 3 drops to the glass and rinse your mouth until the glass is empty. Be sure to rinse well and do not swallow the peroxide solution. This will help your toothache pain until you can get to the dentist.

Use ground or whole cloves for your toothache pain. Put the clove in your mouth close to the area that is causing your toothache pain and leave it there. This will provide some relief for your toothache pain and makes a great home remedy.
