      Purchase red yeast rice in a pill form. This is the more standard method of ingesting the red yeast rice; while you can get it in other forms, it is usually easiest to take as a capsule. Read the instructions on the bottle for dosage information.

      Take the recommended amount of pills. The dosages will vary between brands, but commonly you will take one or two pills two times a day. This is for pills in the range of 400 to 600 mg for each pill.
