How to Get Rid of Belly Fat Pills

Belly fat pills are just like any other over-the-counter or prescription medication and should be disposed of properly. In the past, people were told to flush unused pills down the drain or toilet but this is not entirely safe as the medication can contaminate water supplies. When disposing of unused belly fat pills it is very important to keep safety in mind.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the pills from their original container. If there is a prescription label or any other identifying information on the container, remove the label. Throw the container away with the rest of your trash.

    • 2

Crush the pills and mix them with water to dissolve them. If they are in capsule form, cut open the capsule, squeeze the liquid out and dissolve the gel coating.

    • 3

Place the crushed pills in a sealable plastic bag with kitty litter, sawdust or used coffee grounds. Mixing the pills with another substance will make them less appealing and make the unused medication more difficult to ingest by children or animals.

    • 4

Seal the bag and secure the package with duct tape. This will prevent the bag from opening and spilling the contents. Throw away the bag with the rest of your trash.
