What are the Side Effects of Stacker 3?
Stacker 3 is a weight loss supplement, manufactured by NVE Pharmaceuticals, that claims to help users lose weight, burn fat and suppress appetite. Stacker 3 no longer contains ephedra. Ephedra was banned by the U.S. Food And Drug Administration (FDA) in 2004 when it was found that it greatly increased the chance of having a heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular complication. Before using any weight loss supplement, contact your physician to make sure it is safe for you to use.-
Stimulant Effects
-
The stimulants in Stacker 3 are caffeine, yerba mate and green tea extract. Any product containing stimulants can cause cardiovascular system complications to occur. These complications include increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, and in the case of an overdose, heart palpitations. Visual signs of too high of an intake of stimulants can include sweating, restlessness and jitters. The increase in heart rate and blood pressure that occurs from normal use (the recommended dose on the packaging) of Stacker 3 is considered to be safe.
Dehydration
-
Stacker 3 can cause dehydration. Dehydration can occur because it contains stimulants that increase the excretion of fluids through both perspiration and urination. To avoid becoming dehydrated while using Stacker 3, increase the amount of fluids you consume during the day. Dehydration can cause muscle cramping and fatigue.
Nausea
-
Nausea is a commonly reported side effect of Stacker 3 use. If nausea is experienced from use, it generally subsides within three to four days of use. The three- to four-day time period allows the body time to develop a tolerance to the ingredients in Stacker 3. If after the three- to four-day time period you still feel nauseous, consider researching other weight loss supplements.
Sleep Complications
-
The stimulants present in Stacker 3 can cause sleep complications in some users. To minimize the chances that you will develop sleep complications, ingest a dose early on in your day. Using any product containing stimulants a few hours before sleeping can cause insomnia and other sleep complications.
Considerations
-
Stacker 3 should not be used by anyone under the age of 18. Women who are pregnant should avoid using Stacker 3. People with a preexisting medical history that includes heart or other cardiovascular problems should consult their doctors to make sure it is safe for them to use Stacker 3. Follow all dosing instructions indicated on the packaging explicitly.
