BioTech Research's AbGONE diet pill is designed to target belly fat. Many people would like to reduce the amount of fat stored around their abdominal muscles. This product does not contain ephedra, a stimulant that can be potentially harmful. AbGONE advertisements claim the pill reduces the amount of cortisol in the body. Cortisol is thought to have a direct effect on fat retention in the area of the stomach. AbGONE contains a proprietary blend of ingredients, which means BioTech does not reveal what percentage of each ingredient is used to create AbGONE. BioTech also has developed AbGONE Extra Strength, which the company claims provides a much faster response time than the original. The updated formula contains a green tea extract.

    • The rate that fat is metabolized is increased by some of the ingredients in AbGONE. This increase causes a reduction of intestinal and surface fat and helps to stop any future formation of these particular abdominal fats. The ingredients in AbGONE help lower high cortisol levels, which can be harmful.     • If this ingredient is consumed in high amounts, it will promote lean body mass. One must take about three to four grams a day if you are going to get the fat burning effect. However, it is not stated how much conjugated linoleic acid is contained in AbGONE's proprietary blend. It can certainly not contain anywhere near this amount because the whole proprietary blend is only equal to 820 milligrams.

    Dandelion Root and Leaf Powder

    • The root of this plant stimulates the appetite. The dandelion leaves act as a diuretic.

    Branched Chain Amino Acids

    • This ingredient not only prevents the break down of muscle, but it also promotes muscle growth.

    L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine

    • These amino acids form a three-branched chain. In body building, these ingredients facilitate muscle growth. However, in order for these amino acids to work effectively, they must be taken in mega doses.

    Other ingredients

    • Some other insignificant ingredients that make up AbGONE are soybean oil, KOSHER gelatin, Titanium dioxide, beeswax, glycerin, purified water, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #6 and FD&C Blue #1.
