How to Get the Metal Taste Out of a Water Bottle

Toting around reusable water bottles is an affordable and eco-friendly way to keep drinking water handy. Bottles made of polycarbonate plastic are convenient, but some people worry about the potentially harmful effects of a chemical in the polycarbonate known as bisphenol A (BPA). Stainless steel water bottles are light and easy to carry, but many of them have a metallic taste that taints the water. Aluminum water bottles can also have this unpleasant taste. Fortunately, you can easily remove the bad taste with a few products that you probably already have in your cupboard.
