Instructions for an Iron Boss Filter

The Iron Boss filter is manufactured and patented by LeverEdge, and is used to remove the iron and hydrogen sulfide smell from your water source. The Iron Boss filter can be programmed in a few easy steps and then it will continue to function independently. The Iron Boss filter also oxidizes your water and filters impurities without the use of chemicals. According to LeverEdge, the Iron Boss is a greener solution to water purification. The filter needs to be regenerated every three days.

  Ensure that other equipment is not regenerating at the same time. Set your Iron Boss to recycle every third day at 12:00 am. The filter washes out iron and hydrogen sulfide, and replenishes oxygen from the atmosphere during the recycling process. Regeneration takes 55 minutes and water consumed during this time will be untreated.

  Set the time for regeneration. Locate the control panel. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" button and hold it for 2 seconds.

  Press the "SHIFT" button (the arrow pointing to the left next to the "DOWN" arrow) to alter either the minutes or hours. You will know which digits have been selected because they will be flashing.

  Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows to increase or decrease the time as desired. Press the "SHIFT" key until the a.m. or p.m. button is flashing. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrow to select the a.m. or p.m. setting.

  Press the "EXTRA CYCLE" button (above the "DOWN" arrow) when you have set the time. Wait five seconds and then the regular display with reappear on the panel. Should you not wish to save your new setting, press the "D" button (above the "UP" arrow) to return to the original screen.

  Press the "EXTRA CYCLE" button (above the "DOWN" arrow) for five seconds if regeneration is required outside of the set times.
