1
Purchase as many vitamins and supplements as possible. Because the Codex Alimentarius will soon make it more difficult to purchase them at drugstores and health food stores, get the important vitamins you'll need such as C, D, E, B 12 and multivitamins, as well as fish oil tablets and magnesium tablets.

2
Grow and store your own food. If you have a medium-sized or large backyard, get some inexpensive packets of vegetable and fruit seeds from your local home improvement stores. To avoid seeds that have been genetically engineered, look for organic vegetable and fruit seeds because these are often the healthiest for consumption. To preserve your vegetables or fruits, freeze them or can them in glass jars filled with water, vinegar, salt and herbs.

3
Purchase organic items from your local supermarkets. For example, if you can't grow a garden but you want to store up enough organic vegetables, purchase some canned organic vegetables in bulk, especially when they're on sale. Or if you want a healthy alternative to regular boxed pasta meals with high sodium and unhealthy additives, stock up on boxed meals with more natural ingredients.
