Who is Megan Hilty?

Megan Elizabeth Hilty (born March 29, 1981) is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Hilty is known for her stage career in musicals on both Broadway and the West End. She is best known for her Broadway roles in Wicked (2005), Dear World (2006), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (2008), and Noises Off (2009). In 2011, she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in Noises Off.

In addition to her stage work, Hilty has also had a successful television acting career. She is best known for her leading role as Ivy Lynn on the comedy-drama series Smash (2012–2013), for which she received two Golden Globe Award nominations. She has also had recurring roles on the series The Good Wife (2010–2016) and The Mindy Project (2013–2017).

Hilty's other television credits include guest roles on the series Sex and the City (2004), Curb Your Enthusiasm (2007), Ugly Betty (2009), and Glee (2010). She has also voiced the character of Rapunzel in the animated series Tangled: The Series (2017–2020).

Hilty has also released two solo studio albums, It Happens All the Time (2009) and Megan Hilty (2013).
