Eliminate all "funky foods"--white flour, white rice, potatoes, bananas, carrots, corn and nuts--and all added sugars from your diet. Do not eat any prepared foods with sugar, corn syrup or honey in the ingredients list.

Wait at least three hours after your protein meal to have a carbohydrate meal, and vice versa. You may eat vegetables with either a carbohydrate or a protein and fat meal.

Eat fruit on an empty stomach, and don't mix fruit with meals. Eat fruit, then wait 20 minutes to have a carbohydrate meal. Eat fruit, then wait one hour to have a protein and fat meal. Have fruit two hours after you eat any meal.

Eat until you are comfortably satisfied. There are no calorie or measurement restrictions on how much you may eat, according to Somersize guidelines.
