Limit drinking. The simplest thing you can do reduce urination is to reduce the amount of liquid you are consuming. If you're not thirsty, don't drink. You should also avoid foods that have a lot of water, like cucumbers and tomatoes.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol. Caffeine and alcohol are diuretics, chemicals that increase urination, so you should try to avoid them entirely.

Avoid other diuretics. Coffee and tea both have diuretics in addition to their caffeine, and many other foods have diuretic properties as well. These foods include cranberries, fennel, beets, cabbage and oats.

Practice self control. Although it may grow uncomfortable, most people's bladders do have the ability to wait a long period of time between urination. Learning to think about other things can be particularly helpful.
