What Kind of Foods Are Proteins?
Protein comes from a variety of sources. These sources include meats, poultry and fish, eggs and dairy, vegetables, beans and grains. According to Heartspring.net, high protein is considered to be 10 grams or more per serving and five grams or more is good protein. The Vegetarian Resource Group indicates that we should have 0.36 grams of protein for every pound that we weigh.-
Meats, Poultry and Fish

Meats such as beef, pork, veal and lamb are high in protein. High protein poultry includes chicken, turkey and duck. Fish that is high in protein includes tuna, sardines, swordfish, flounder, crab, haddock, scallops, salmon and halibut.
Eggs and Dairy

Eggs are high in protein as well as certain dairy foods including cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, ricotta and mozzarella.
Vegetables
