1
Look at your daily calorie intake to see how many calories you are currently consuming. If you would like to lose fat, you will need to lower your calorie intake to force your body to burn fat.
-
2
Shop for food with what is called "quality calories." Such foods would be meat for protein, bread or cereal for carbohydrates, apples for fruits, and lettuce or other greens for vegetables, and minimal fats like chocolate.
-
3
Eat 5 small meals a day rather than 3 meals. This will help your body to keep a consistent metabolism rate. Too much food at one time will lead to an overabundance of energy, which is a bad thing.
-
4
Exercise regularly while also keeping an eye on your eating habits. Manipulating your carbohydrate, fat, and protein content of your diet will increase Nutrient Partitioning.
