How to Add Oats to Smoothies

- Blender
- Coffee Grinder
- Food Scale

Measure out one serving of oats. Use a food scale for maximum accuracy.

Place the oats in a food processor or coffee grinder and grind them for about 30 seconds. Grinding them will allow them to blend easily into the smoothie.

Put the smoothie in a blender. Add in the oats and blend on medium for 20 to 30 seconds. Use the "blend" setting if your blender has one.

Taste the smoothie to check for desired consistency. Blend the smoothie for an additional 30 seconds if it is not smooth enough for you.
