How to Ionize Water
Things You'll Need
- pH testing kit
- Water ionizer
- Batch unit ionizer
- Bio-ceramic filters
- External magnetic ionizers
- Alkaline concentrate
Instructions

Test pH level
-
1
Dip a pH test strip into the water you plan to drink to determine its pH level. If the results show that the water is not less than an 8.0 range, you will need to ionize it.

2
Install a portable water ionizer that connects to the kitchen sink. Plug in the filter into an electrical outlet nearby. Put the ionizer on the countertop as close to the sink as possible. Unscrew the aerator--the small housing at the tip of the faucet where the water flows. Screw on the faucet diverter tube in place of the aerator. Attach one end of the hose to the attachment nozzle located on the diverter tube. Connect the other end of the hose to the bottom of the ionizer filter marked inlet. Clamp both ends of the inlet tube with hose clamps. Connect the outlet tube to the bottom of the ionizer where it is marked "outlet." Using a hose clamp, fasten the outlet tube to the ionizer. Hang the other end of the outlet tube into the sink where the runoff can flow into the drain. Turn the faucet on. Using a knob on the inoizer filter, set the pH level from 0 to 12.0, on acidic and alkaline settings as needed.

Pour water through a bio ceramic filter. This filter is made from clay, stone and other minerals such as magnetite and cobalt. This process creates a magnetic environment that restores alkalinity.

4
Make water pass through magnetic fields. Create a magnetic environment by attaching an exterior magnetic ionizer device to your water pipes. Water that runs through this magnetic field will become alkalinic. You can also pour alkaline concentrate, available in a liquid or tablet, into water before you drink it. Only two drops of alkaline liquid or one alkaline tablet, are needed for each 8-oz. glass of water.

5
Pour water through a batch unit ionizer. This machine will re-ionize water using electrolysis one gallon at a time and is good for large quantities. Batch ionizers are one of the most inexpensive ways to ionize water.
