      Look for the word "Protein" in bold and usually located under "Total Carbohydrate."

      Look for the amount in either milligrams or grams located next to the word "Protein" in bold.

    Foods such as fruits, vegetables and meats that do not have nutrition facts printed on their packaging.

      Type in the type of food you would like to know the protein of.
