The Cellect-Budwig Protocol

The Cellect-Budwig protocol is an alternative protocol for the treatment of cancer that claims to act on cancer quickly and effectively. The protocol is sold online in the form of CDs by the company Road to Health Inc.
  1. Basis

    • The Cellect-Budwig protocol is based on combining a diet plan and taking a powder called Cellect.

    Claims

    • The Cellect-Budwig protocol as promoted by Road to Health Inc, an alternative health company, claims to have a positive effect on cancer patients through diet. A Dr. Johanna Budwig, whose work the protocol is based on, is mentioned on the website as a seven times Nobel Prize nominee. However, according to the Budwig Institute, she is a seven times Right Livelihood Award, also known as the Alternative Nobel Prize, nominee.

    Research and Proof

    • Online medical resources such as the National Cancer Institute and Pubmed (a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health) do not contain any research relating to this protocol. The Cellect homepage states that the powder does not reverse any disease. The Cellect-Budwig website also states "You should not construe anything in this website, set of CD's or Down Loads to be medical advice regarding any specific disorder."
