Grab a computer and get on-ine. Visit a health and fitness site with access to a frame size calculator such as Health Status, Diet & Fitness Today and Med India.

    • 2

Once you find a frame size calculator you are comfortable using, begin by entering your gender.

    • 3

Enter your height. Some calculators will accept feet and inches while others accept only inches or only centimeters. This is where a tape measure comes in handy. If needed, have a friend or family member help you with the measurements.

    • 4

Enter either wrist circumference or elbow breadth. The easiest and most straightforward method is measuring the circumference of your wrist. A second method is measuring the breadth or width of your elbow. While this method is a bit more complicated, it often gives more accurate results.

      To do the second measurement:

Raise your arm so that is parallel to the ground. Keep your palm turned up facing the ceiling and bend at the elbow in a 90 degree angle. Using the forefinger and thumb of your other hand, find the narrow part of your elbow joint and withdraw both fingers slowly making sure the size of the gap between the fingers remains the same. Measure this gap with a ruler or tape measure.
