The Neurotoxic Diet

The Neurotoxic Diet (NTD) aims to detoxify and heal the body's cellular membranes through a highly specialized diet. NTD is an alternative approach for patients suffering from disorders related to Neurotoxic Membrane Syndrome.
  1. Testing

    • Before beginning NTD, patients must undergo a series of tests prescribed by the doctor in order to identify what toxins the diet must target. These tests include a toxicity questionnaire, applied kinesiology testing and a subluxation checkup.

    The Diet

    • NTD requires that a patient remove all hydrogenated oils, transfats, grains and sugar from his diet. Patients must then increase their intake of grass-fed meat, "good" butter, free-range eggs, raw nuts and seeds and "good" oils. Then, patients begin taking Body Bio Balance 4:1 Oil, soybean lecithin, meridium and heavy metal detox. Finally, a doctor prescribes additional supplements based on the patient's particular condition.

    Autism

    • The autistic community originally popularized gluten-and-casein-free diets, like NTD. These diets allege that allergies and food intolerances are responsible for disorders, such as autism. NTD attempts to correct the cause of these disorders. With autistic patients, doctors implement NTD at a much slower pace.
