Morning Moo's
-
In 1972, Phil Augason of Augason Farms developed an economical, nutritious whey-based milk alternative that he named Morning Moo's. Liquid Morning Moo's regular strength is made from 1/2 cup of powder mixed with 4 cups of water. It is a substitute for drinking or for use in recipes in place of milk. Double strength is a substitute for light cream. Morning Moo's also has a shortening effect, which reduces the amount of shortening required in doughs and other cake recipes.
