How to Detox With Soup

- Raw green vegetables
- Blender or juicer

A typical detox diet should last seven to 10 days. During the cleanse, focus on consuming freshly juiced, nutrient-rich green vegetables, including kale, spinach, cucumber, cabbage, celery, broccoli, avocado, collard greens and okra.

Chop vegetables into bite-sized chunks. Add the pieces to a blender. Puree for one to two minutes or until the vegetables are reduced to liquid form. Add more ingredients to flavor the puree as needed, such as onions, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper and other herbs.

Heat the pureed soup on the stove for five minutes or in the microwave for three minutes, or until the desired temperature is reached.

Eat one to two bowls of soup per day during your cleanse.
