Yeast causes dough to rise and is used in most store-bought breads. This means you want to avoid eating sandwich breads, sourdough bread, rolls, bagels, buns, pretzels and pizza crust. Beverages

Alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, cider, malt liquors and sake utilize brewer's yeast during the fermentation, so these products should be avoided if you suffer from a yeast intolerance. You should also avoid drinking grape juice since it also utilizes yeast its production.
Baked Goods
-
As with bread, bakers use yeast to make dough rise in bake goods. Whether homemade or store-bought, you will need to avoid eating most cookies, cakes and donuts. However, you may be able to bake or buy unleavened cakes that do not use yeast.
Diary Products
-
You always want to be careful of eating certain diary products. You will find yeast in aged cheeses, yogurt and sour cream.
Condiments
-
Yeast can also be found in condiments. Some companies manufacture soy sauce with yeast in it and some don't, so be sure to read the ingredients label.
