    • 1

Determine your eligibility for the WIC program. To be eligible, you must have low or no income, and your infant must be considered at medical or nutritional risk. Maximum income level is determined based on household size and ranges from $20,000 per year to over $80,000 per year. If you are eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), food stamps, or Medicaid, you automatically meet the income qualification for WIC in Mississippi. Examples of infants at medical or nutritional risk include those who are anemic, overweight, or underweight.
