How to Cleanse the Liver with Flaxseed
Flaxseed has been used for thousands of years as a source of food andcleansing. Because it is high in fiber and binds with water, flaxseed helps to cleanse the
colon of waste and toxins that can be taxing to the liver in large quantities. The
omega-3 in flaxseed has been used to help to treat non-alcoholic fatty livers,
and flaxseed and flaxseed products are common elements in liver-cleansing
routines. You can enhance the effect of flaxseed in a cleanse by accompanying it with organic fruits and vegetables and whole grains.
