Foods High in Phytosterols
Plant sterols, or phytosterols, are similar to cholesterol and are generally found in grains, vegetable oils, nuts and legumes. While cholesterol is necessary, if it is too high it can lead to heart disease. Phytosterols actually reduce the harmful cholesterol in your body. There are many different foods containing phytosterols, and incorporating these foods into your daily diet can benefit your health.-
