How to Cleanse a Kid's Body of Toxins

Children's health is extremely important as health decisions now may affect them for the rest of their lives. Maintaining a child's health with a nutritious diet and daily exercise is of the utmost importance, but before you begin your child's healthy routine, the toxins must be cleansed from her body. These toxins can be ingested via furniture, carpet, smoke, wood, pet dander, mold, mildew and other things, according to Life Tips. There are several ways to cleanse your child's body, and with diligence and consistency, your child will be toxin-free (or at least close to it) in no time.

Give your child lots of vitamins. Vitamins A, C and E are essential and must be taken every day--either in the form of pills or in your diet. These essential vitamins will help drain your child's body of harmful toxins. Carrots, oranges, juice, bananas, broccoli (and the list goes on) are all great foods to eat. Make sure the child drinks lots and lots of water, too.

Feed your child foods that are high in fiber. Establishing healthy bowel habits in your child is a great way to rid her body of toxins. Fiber also prevents constipation, lowers cholesterol (and prevents high cholesterol), controls weight and much more, according to Health Castle.

Make sure your child exercises every day. Gauge what your child enjoys doing and do it with her. Lots of running around, playing and even laughing are all great ways to help your child exercise. Exercise increases metabolism, flushes toxins and puts your child on the fast track to nutrition and longevity.

Take preventative measures so that your child avoids toxins. Don't smoke, keep your carpets and furniture clean at all times, and keep mold out of your house. These are all ways that your child can ingest toxins into her body. The best cure is prevention, so ensure that your child has a hospitable environment.
