How to Juice to Get Rid of Migraines

A migraine is a type of headache that causes severe pain and a pounding or pulsating sensation. This pounding sensation is caused by enlarged blood vessels that rest just under the surface of the skin. These enlarged blood vessels put tension on the nerves that surround the blood vessels because these nerves are forced to stretch beyond their normal means. Migraines can be relieved by daily consumption of fresh fruit and vegetable juices. These juices help to rid the body of toxins, along with supplying the body with vital nutrients that help to ward off headaches.

Prevent migraines by juicing two apples. Cut the apples into four slices each; you should have a total of eight apple slices. Insert the apple slices into a juicer, along with four stalks of celery. Drink the apple/celery juice on a daily basis to help keep migraines from interrupting your daily activities.

Alleviate a migraine by juicing spinach leaves and enough carrots to make approximately 300 ml of juice. Juice cucumbers to make 100 ml of juice and add the cucumber juice to the carrot/spinach juice. Juice enough beets to get 100 ml of beet juice and add it to the carrot/spinach/cucumber juice. Drink the juice mixture to relieve pain caused by a migraine.

Rinse a pound of fresh green or purple grapes under cool running water to remove any debris or chemicals from the harvesting process. Pull each individual grape from the vine and insert it into a juicer. Juice the entire pound of grapes and drink the juice. Do not add water to the grape juice; drink it just the way it is. Green grapes can be a little bitter, so if you prefer sweet grape juice use purple grapes instead. Grape juice can help prevent and also alleviate migraines.
