How to Use Raw Turmeric
Turmeric is recommended by practitioners of natural medicine in India, Malaysia and Hawaii to stimulate circulation and cleanse the blood of toxins. Prevent anemia by consuming this iron-rich root, a relative of ginger. Promote the health of internal organs through its high potassium content, which helps the kidneys, heart and digestive system function normally. Aid the body in combating colds, flu and other infections with turmeric's significant amount of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Use it topically to curb outbreaks of acne and eczema, and to prevent infection of superficial cuts. Add color and nutrition to food, especially Indian recipes.Things You'll Need
