How to Use Tony Little's Gazelle Edge
Tony Little's Gazelle Edge is designed to deliver a workout to your entire body, especially your legs. This machine is simple to use and doesn't require a handbook of different exercise techniques to be effective. There is only one exercise to learn, which you can then repeat in different ways to tone your entire body and burn calories.Instructions

Getting Started
-
1
Stand behind the exercise machine and grip the side bars. Carefully place your left foot onto the left foot pedal and then your right foot onto the right foot pedal. Move your hands to the center bar.
-
2
Move one foot forward to begin the glide. As you advance one foot, the other will go back. The foot pedals will move with you as you glide.
-
3
Stop gliding by halting the motion of your feet. Place one hand on each hand grip. Begin gliding again and move your arms with the motion of the foot pedals.
-
4
Place your hands over the silver strips of the hand grips to monitor your heart rate. It will appear on the screen in the middle of the center bar.
-
5
Dismount the Gazelle Edge. Once the foot pedals have come to a complete stop, move your hands to the side bars and carefully step off the machine.
Advanced Workout
-
6
Perform the High Glide. Lift your feet and place your hands higher up on the hand grips while gliding. According to the Gazelle Edge Owner's Manual, this increases the workout in the calf muscles. Continue until you feel tired, then lower your feet until they are flat onto the pedals to complete the workout.
-
7
Perform the Forward Push. Keep your feet flat on the foot pedals and lean forward. Let yourself lean forward as you glide instead of standing up straight. Lean back into a straight position when you are finished with the Forward Push exercise.
-
8
Perform the Power Jog. Keep your feet flat on the foot pedals and let go of the hand grips while gliding. If you feel unstable, take hold of the hand grips or the center bar to study yourself.
