Wai Diet Munch Foods

The Wai Diet is a diet that is based around eating raw foods that are easily digested. Wai dieters typically do the diet as a way of life, rather than many other diets that are done simply as a way to lose weight. Wai dieters claim the diet can help cure acne, relieve constipation, and give dieters more focus and energy. If you're new to the Wai diet there are a few foods you can eat on the diet as "munch foods" when you're hungry that fit within the parameters of the diet.
  1. Fruit

    • All raw, unprocessed fruit fits under the Wai diet. Try munching on a fresh apple, or carrying a banana with you to work or school to snack on when you get hungry. Berries such as strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries can be also an excellent choice if you're feeling like eating something sweet. In order to fall within the Wai diet, any fruits you consume have to be unprocessed and raw, so things like puddings, preserves, pies and other prepared or processed fruits are not an option.

    Unshelled Nuts

    • Nuts can be an excellent snack choice for Wai dieters, and can give you some of the protein you need to keep going, and help fight hunger throughout the day. In order to be eaten under the Wai diet you have to purchased nuts still in the shell and hand shell them yourself. Shelling your own nuts can not only make for a fresher snack, but can also prevent you from over snacking, since you will have to spend a bit of time getting to each nut.

    Raw Vegetables

    • Raw vegetables can be a tasty treat when you need something to snack on while you're on-the-go. Try carrying around a package of baby carrots or cucumbers for when the munchies hit. Spice up your snacking by eating a tomato or a pepper as a snack. Adding a little raw onion to a tomato can make an average tomato extraordinary. Other vegetables to try raw: squash, broccoli, cauliflower, and soybeans.
