Liver and Gall Bladder Cleanse
-
Olive Oil
-
One of the main ingredients used for a liver cleansing mixture is olive oil. For a proper liver and gallbladder cleanse, 2 tablespoons (1/4 cup) of olive oil should be mixed with 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon or apple juice. This is the most common method for cleansing, and olive oil is easy to find in supermarkets. The cleansing mixture should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach, and then every hour until 11 to 16 doses are taken.
Walnut Oil
-
Walnut oil is also a popular ingredient used in liver and gallbladder cleansing. To create a walnut oil-based cleansing mixture, mix 8 tbsp. of walnut oil with 8 tbsp. (1/2 cup) of organic apple juice and stir. Drink the mixture followed by 8 tbsp. of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The walnut oil and apple juice combination tastes better than olive oil and lemon juice and is therefore preferred as a cleansing method. Walnut oil is sold in gourmet supermarkets and most health food stores.
