Alkaline Foods For Health
A healthy diet is one that consists of 75 percent alkaline foods and 25 percent acidic foods. Alkaline and acids in your body are measured by pH balance on a scale of 1 to 14, with the higher numbers representing the alkaline foods. Eating alkaline foods can help you prevent immunity problems and even diseases like cancer.-
Vegetables

Practically all vegetables are alkaline foods. Vegetables such as celery contain high levels of vitamins and minerals. This keeps your balanced cells healthy and eliminates your damaged ones. Raw vegetables are also loaded with digestive enzymes. These aid in the digestive process and also help eliminate yeast, toxins and parasites from your body. You should eat at least five helpings of vegetables per day. You can use a blender and drink some of your vegetables. They are easier to assimilate this way.
Besides celery, other vegetables that can help alkalinize your body include carrots, cucumbers, radishes, spinach, lettuce, kale, onions cabbage, turnips, green beans, peas, yams, broccoli and brussel sprouts.
Fruits

Fruits such as grapes are natural laxatives. They can rid your body of harmful fecal impactions in the colon. Other fruits that are alkaline in nature include avocado, apples, oranges, cherries, bananas, pineapples, peaches, pears, honeydew melon, blueberries, blackberries, tangerines, watermelon, lemons, limes, grapefruit and rhubarb.
