Hemadrol Side Effects

Hemadrol, an anabolic steroid supplement manufactured by EST Nutrition, is used mainly to increase muscle mass, to create greater endurance during workouts and to increase energy throughout the day. As with any steroid supplement, substantial side effects can occur from its use.

  1. Inhibition of Fat Production

    • One of the most noticeable and desirable side effects for users of Hemadrol is the drug's ability to slow production of fat particles in the body, while at the same time building muscle mass. This has drawbacks, however. Hemadrol puts increased stress on the vascular system and causes possibility of long-term internal problems, such as kidney failure.

    Acne

    • One of the most common side effects from using Hemadrol is the development of excess acne on the face, back and chest. Two main things cause this: increased levels of testosterone and increased activity in the sebaceous glands. These factors, in conjunction with the presence of outside bacteria and dead skin cells, lead to clogged pores and the eventual onset of acne.

    Liver Toxicity

    • Use of Hemadrol can also result in toxicity of the liver. The main function of the liver is to break down and condense compounds as they enter the body. When a foreign substance such as Hemadrol is ingested into the body, the liver becomes overworked and causes liver enzymes to rise to a level it is not used to. Subsequently, the liver struggles to condense these chemicals, and long-term liver damage is possible.

    Increased Aggression

    • Perhaps the most highly publicized side effect of Hemadrol use is onset of increased anger or aggression, or what is more commonly referred to as "roid rage." Elevated levels of testosterone combined with the other chemicals present in the drug can cause this. The result is increased violent behavior or, in some cases, psychosis. It is important to realize that personality traits play a role in determining whether these side effects will affect an individual. Those with previous violent history are prone to be more affected than those who are normally calm.

    Warning

    • Side effects can come from using any anabolic steroid, not just Hemadrol. If you are younger than 18, steroid use can stunt your growth pattern and lead to any of the side effects listed above.
