Exercise 30 to 60 minutes at your level of intensity.

Mix 0.15 to 0.25 grams of whey protein powder per pound of body weight with liquid, such as, water, milk or juice. For example, someone that weighs 175 pounds would need 26 to 34 grams.

Blend in fruit, peanut butter or yogurt, along with ice cubes to make a protein shake.

Consume the shake within 30 to 60 minutes after working out to get the most benefit.
