How to Stop Codex Alimentarius
In 1963, a global "food code" and trade commission called Codex Alimentarius was established by the United Nations and the World Health Organization to regulate the global trade of food. Although first designed to regulate new chemicals in the food supply, Codex is now focusing its efforts on regulating "dangerous and toxic" vitamins, minerals and other nutritional supplements. Opponents feel that Codex would treat all vitamins and minerals as toxic substances (including medical drugs), requiring toxicology testing and resulting in ineffective doses available over the counter.Health freedom activists and informed consumers wishing to prevent Codex Alimentarius from this type of regulation must first get government officials to reject the Codex Alimentarius commission.
