Opc Factor Side Effects
OPC, short for oligomeric proanthocyanidins, is a natural food supplement composed of bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids are organic plant compounds found mainly in fruits and vegetables. OPC Factor is a full-spectrum antioxidant formula made up of red wine grape skin extract, grape seed, pine bark, vitamins A, C and E and other ingredients.-
The History
-
OPCs, sometimes labeled "super antioxidants" by the health industry, are a group of flavanoids, or natural plant chemicals that provide the body with a natural source of antioxidants. Free radicals, which are abundant and surrounding us all the time in the air we breath and the water we drink, can wreak havoc on our skin, causing us to age prematurely. Discovered as early as the 1500s, it was not until the late 1940s that the modern-day compounds emerged that are in OPC Factor.
The Claims
-
Beyond slowing the aging process, OPC factor proponents claim the supplement can treat everything from ADHD to asthma, arthritis, allergies and depression, just to name a few. Chronic fatigue, chronic pain and issues with inflammation are also issues reportedly relieved through regular use of OPC factor supplement.
Reported Side Effects
-
Though most users of OPC factor report no side effects at all, some of the reported ill effects in the early stages of taking the product are headaches, gastric discomfort and occasional dizziness. In addition, some people have reported negative reactions like localized itching, ankle swelling, and facial flushing. As the body adjusts, usually over a span of two or three days, symptoms generally subside.
