How to Mix Probiotic Powder
-
1
Measure out the powder according to the package directions. The amount varies by brand and by the age of the person who is drinking the mixture.
-
2
Place the powder in a cup or bottle that can hold at least 6 oz. You will want to have a little extra room for mixing.
-
3
Fill the container with 5 oz. of warm or tepid water. Don't use cold or hot water, as those temperatures can kill the bacteria and impede absorption of the powder.
-
4
Stir the water and powder mixture. If you have a bottle or closed container you can shake it to mix it.
-
5
Drink the mixture immediately. Don't let it sit out in room temperature, as this can reduce the effectiveness of the drink.
