Isagenix History

Isagenix is a consumer products firm headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. It specializes in marketing health products that promote "nutritional cleansing."
  1. Background

    • Isagenix was founded by three people: John Anderson, who had worked as a supplement manufacturer and formulator for more than two decades, and highly-experienced marketers Jim and Kathy Cooper.

    Foundation

    • John Anderson and Jim and Kathy Cooper found Isagenix in March 2002. At the start, the company had only nine employees.

    Early Success

    • Isagenix only had two product line-ups, yet the company exceeded $50 million in sales within the first 1 1/2 years of its existence.

    Products

    • Isagenix now has four kinds of products: cleansing systems, nutritional supplements, skin care products, and the Product Pak, a sampling of all of the company's offerings.

    Today

    • By 2006, Isagenix had a staff of 140, and had generated $200 million in accumulated sales.
