Slim Shots Vs. Slimquick

SlimShots and SlimQuick are competing weight-loss supplements. Both are marketed to women as part of a weight-loss regime that include good nutritional choices, drinking lots of water and exercising regularly.
  1. Function

    • SlimShots works by making you feel full, which helps control your appetite; SlimQuick focuses on encouraging fat loss by boosting metabolism, removing excess water and reducing stress.

    Ingredients

    • The main ingredients in SlimShots are natural oat and palm oils. SlimQuick has a much more complicated ingredient list, including natural thermogenics, soy, diuretic herbs, calcium and several vitamins.

    Artificial

    • SlimShots contain artificial flavoring and the artificial sweetener aspartame; SlimQuick has no artificial ingredients.

    Types

    • SlimShots are small packets of liquid, each about the size of coffee creamer, that can be "slugged" on their own or added to food and beverages. SlimQuick comes in capsule form or as a powdered drink mix.

    Cost

    • As of late 2009, SlimShots average out to about $1 a day for continuing use, and SlimQuick averages around $1.67 per day of continuing use with the standard formula. Neither cost average accounts for short-term promotional offers or discounts.
