    Facts

    • The two main Juvenon ingredients are acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC), which is the primary antioxidant, and alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), which is the secondary antioxidant. Juvenon also contains biotin, known as vitamin B7, calcium, and a small amount of phosphorus. Several other components listed on the ingredients list are mostly fillers, preservatives and packaging agents.

    Function

    • Acetyl-L-carnitine is a natural amino acid which transfers fat and converts it to energy. It is a type of cellular fuel for the body and also helps to protect and restore nerve function. Alpha lipoic acid is an essential nutrient that helps convert the food we eat into energy, regulate metabolism and remove toxic substances from individual cells. Biotin is an essential nutrient produced in the intestines which helps the body to form and process fatty acids. Phosphorus is a mineral present in every cell of the body and is essential for healthy cell membranes and metabolism. Phosphorus joins with calcium to help produce strong bones and teeth. The function of calcium in Juvenon is to assist in the transportation of chemicals across cell membranes.

    Effects

    • Taking Juvenon as a dietary supplement will help the body to better convert food into energy, thus raising the metabolism. Juvenon also helps to protect the body from free radicals and get rid of toxins that may have entered into the body through the air breathed in, by eating unhealthy foods or by everyday stress.

    Amount

    • The Juvenon ingredients list specifies that Juvenon contains 100 percent of the daily values of biotin, which is 300 mcg; 15 percent of daily values of calcium; and 12 percent of the daily values of phosphorus per serving size of two tablets. Juvenon also contains 1,000 mg of acetyl-L-carnitine and 400 mg of alpha lipoic acid per serving. Juvenon recommends taking two tablets per day, with food, for best results.

    Benefits

    • Some of the benefits of taking Juvenon as a dietary supplement include an increase in energy levels, better memory function and more restful sleep. You may also notice a more youthful appearance in both the skin and hair.
