Homemade High Calorie Puree Foods

Ingredients

Assemble 1 cup of any milk of your choosing (cow, soy, rice or an Ensure-type product), a half-cup of plain or soy yogurt, 2 tablespoons of any type of protein powder, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 banana and 1 tablespoon of finely ground flaxseeds. If your mouth is sore, it's OK to skip the flaxseed.
Putting it All Together

Add the ingredients in the blender and place the cover on securely. Press the "blend" or "puree" button on your blender until you achieve the consistency you prefer in a drink. You can add more milk to the blender to thin a smoothie out that is too thick.
Handling Leftovers

Store any unused smoothie in the refrigerator or freezer. To enjoy the next day, simply refrigerate and add a little more liquid and re-blend. If you want to keep leftovers for more than one day, put in the freezer and thaw when you are ready to drink some more.
