Masteron Side Effects

Masteron is an oil-based anabolic steroid supplement used to increase muscle mass, inhibit the accumulation of fat production, and build endurance during a workout. The drug is administered every 2 days in dosages between 400-600 milligrams. As with any anabolic steroid, some harmful side effects can result from use.

  1. Aggression

    • Increased aggression is the most common side effect from using Masteron.     Liver Problems

    • The main job of the liver is to break down compounds that enter the body. However, when a strong substance (such as an anabolic steroid) is processed, it causes liver enzymes to become elevated to a higher level than it is used to. As a result, the chemicals present in Masteron can become too much for the body to handle at one time and can lead to serious, long-term damage of the liver.

    Gynocomastia

    • Gynocomastia is a term used to refer to excess development of fatty breast tissue in men as a result of steroid use. When steroids are ingested into the body, the presence of higher testosterone levels forces the body to create excess estrogen as a counterbalance. These higher than normal levels of estrogen cause the body to develop female characteristics over time, in most cases leading to the development of larger, softer breasts.

    Cardiovascular Problems

    • One of the most serious side effects of using Masteron is the possibility of heart problems from extended use. Long-term steroid use eventually puts a strain on the heart, causing it to have to work harder to perform even normal tasks. After a while, the heart will no longer be able to perform these tasks correctly. The end result can be anything from irregular heartbeat to eventual heart failure.
