What Is Enzymedica?

The body relies on many different internal processes to carry out day-to-day functions. These processes are made possible by way of enzymes. Enzymes are also used in digestion to break down fats, protein and carbohydrates for energy.     • Enzymedica has specific features when it comes to their enzyme formulas. The company claims it uses no fillers for additives in their supplements. The supplements have coatings on them that are vegan and Kosher certified. They are also registered through the National Science Foundation with a Good Manufacturing Program certification.

    Carbs

    • There are different types of enzymes that Enzymedica has to offer. One particular one is called CarbGest. As the name implies, it is taken to promote the digestion of carbohydrates which some people have a difficult time breaking down. It also helps to break down substances called "phenols," which are found in plant-based foods and also in food colorings and flavorings. This enzyme is taken right before a meal that contains carbohydrates.

    Acid

    • Enzymedica has a product called pH Basic that is used to raise the body's alkalinity levels. When the body is highly acidic, inflammation can develop and immunity can become compromised. To help counter this problem, foods that are high in alkalinity are often times consumed. But there are occasions where people have a hard time making these adjustments in their diet. That is where pH Basic comes into play. It also comes with a pH testing strip to see how alkaline you are.

    Intolerance

    • There are a lot of people who have intolerances to various foods. For example, gluten is the protein portion of wheat and anyone who has gluten intolerance should not have products that contain wheat, rye or barley. There are people who are lactose intolerant who cannot have milk products. Enzymedica has formulas that do not cure these conditions, but they assist people who have a difficult time digesting them.
