Buy green barley powder from a health food store, or order it online (see Resources below).

Start by mixing 1/2 tsp. of green barley powder in a cup of juice, a glass of water or in your cereal each morning.

Increase your daily intake of green barley from 1/2 tsp. to at least 2 tsps. over a two to three week period. If you experience any symptoms, such as nausea or headache as you increase your daily intake, reduce the amount of green barley you're taking and increase at a much slower pace.

Drink anywhere between 2 and 12 tsps. of green barley a day once your body has adjusted to it. The amount you take is up to you and should be based on what makes you feel best.
