How do you make gluten free atta?
Ingredients:
* 2 cups almond flour
* 2 cups tapioca flour
* 1 cup arrowroot flour
* 1/4 cup oat flour
* 1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, tapioca flour, arrowroot flour, oat flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, baking soda, xanthan gum, and salt.
2. Add 1 1/2 cups of water and mix until the dough comes together. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
6. Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
7. Cut the dough into circles using a biscuit cutter.
8. Place the biscuits on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
9. Bake the biscuits for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
10. Let the biscuits cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Tips:
* For best results, use blanched almond flour.
* If you don't have oat flour, you can make your own by grinding oats in a blender or food processor.
* Psyllium husk powder helps to bind the dough together and give it a chewy texture.
* Xanthan gum helps to improve the elasticity of the dough.
* You can add other ingredients to your gluten free atta, such as herbs, spices, or cheese.
* Gluten free atta can be used to make a variety of baked goods, such as bread, cookies, and pizza.
