The Best Men's Daily Vitamin
Men sometimes need to take a daily multivitamin, though Consumersearch.com says that they shouldn't get more than 8 mg of iron a day and can get that through their diet. Fortunately, men can find plenty of multivitamins on the market that don't contain iron and some that do. The important thing is how effective the multivitamin is overall while containing other vitamins. A number of good products exist that provide just about all vitamin needs.-
GNC Mega Men Multivitamin

Consumersearch.com says this GNC brand of multivitamins for men is one of the most popular and best available. The product goes with the supposition that men can get 8 mg of iron in their own diet and ultimately contains no iron. But it has 100 percent of all other vitamins a man needs by taking two of the tablets. It touts itself as containing a special antioxidant blend of fruits and vegetables containing various powders that supposedly give you the benefits of broccoli, spinach, apple and kale. According to Consumersearch, there hasn't been any scientific evidence that this blend really makes any huge difference. However, there isn't evidence it's harmful, either. Note that this GNC brand contains a higher level of niacin, or B3. This could cause face-flushing in some men. Also, it's not a vegetarian product due to ingredients found in fish.
One-a-Day Men's Health Formula

This iron-free multivitamin provides every needed vitamin, plus 150 percent of selenium, which Consumersearch says may help prevent prostate cancer. That claim also has its controversies. Consumersearch says a study was conducted in recent years on selenium to see whether it really did help prevent prostate cancer. The study ended early with no evidence it did help the prostate, plus the fear that too much selenium can cause diabetes. In 2009, the Center for Science in the Public Interest said they would eventually sue Bayer over this multivitamin's selenium claims. Nevertheless, Consumersearch still indicates it as one of the most popular and best-selling multivitamins in the country.

Safemenopausesolutions.com says this daily vitamin for men is the most complete you can find without iron. It touts having a special blend of nutrients that specifically help men to increase their testosterone levels, improve prostate health and enhance their sex drive. Some of these trace elements include amino acids, flavonoids and calorie restriction mimics. However, it's more expensive than the previous two multivitamins (close to $50 for 120 coated tablets) and it also requires taking four tablets a day.
