It can prevent and treat diahrea, irritable bowel syndrome, yeast infections and many skin diseases. Not all yogurts available for purchase contain acidophilus, to be sure you must check the label. However, there are many supplemental yogurts enhanced with acidophilus as a way to market colon health. Vitamin supplement stores carry a wide array of acidophilus products that you can take as-is or mix into your own foods such as yogurt.Things You'll Need

1
Crush the tab into a fine powder. You want the pill to be as inconspicuous as possible, so make sure you crush it completely. Use either a mortar and pestle to crush the tabs or place them in a doubled zip locking bag and crush with a hammer until dust. Crush one tablet for each single serving of yogurt. Consult the dosage information on your particular supplement product to verify. You do not want to overdose on acidophilus tabs.

2
Sprinkle the powder into the yogurt and stir. To avoid any recognition of the pill, choose a flavored yogurt such as vanilla or strawberry rather than plain yogurt. Stir until it is completely dissolved.

3
Substitute liquid, powder or gel forms of acidophilus in lieu of a tablet as they provide the same effect without the added work. Liquid and gel forms blend smoother with yogurt, and purchasing already crushed powder eliminates the step. Any way you choose, make sure you follow dosing recommendations on the product label.
