Instructions

Eat raw fruits that contain vitamins A. Foods with red and yellow pigments (carotenoids) are a good visual indicator of fruit and vegetables that contain vitamin A. Cantaloupe, tomatoes, grapefruit, guava, mango, peaches, papaya, and watermelon are good sources of vitamin A. Other good sources of vitamin A are red bell peppers, carrots, yams and liver oils. Having a vitamin A deficiency is one of the leading causes of night blindness, cataract formation and corneal ulcers.

Incorporate vitamin C rich fruits into your diet. Oranges, mangoes, strawberries, raspberries, grapefruit and other citrus fruits are good sources of this vitamin. Adding servings of vegetables like leafy greens, broccoli and red bell peppers will also help get your daily dose of vitamin C.
