How to Take Both Flaxseed & Fish Oil Supplements
Flaxseed is a flowering plant that can be found growing in the western prairies of Canada. Flaxseeds contain omega 3 EPA and DHA fatty acids, which are required by the body for optimum health. Flaxseeds can be ground into a powder and taken as a supplement by sprinkling the powder into food or drinks. Flaxseed oil is another form of omega 3 fatty acids used for nutritional purposes. The oil is extracted from the flaxseed and used for cooking or made into dietary supplements. Fish oil is a supplement that contains omega 3 ALA fatty acids. Taking flaxseed or flaxseed oil in combination with fish oil supplements will help the body to get all the required fatty acids needed to stay healthy.Things You'll Need
