Magnesium asporotate contains three different forms of magnesium: magnesium asparatate, magnesium citrate and magnesium orotate.
Function

Magnesium works synergistically with calcium to aid in many process of the body. Magnesium is needed for bone development, protein and fatty acid formation, making new cells, activating B vitamins, relaxing muscles, clotting blood and forming ATP which provides the body with energy. Magnesium is also required for insulin secretion and function.
Benefits for ADD

Clinical research has shown that children with ADD have lowered levels of magnesium, and magnesium asporotate has been used to as a supplement to assist in reduced hyperactivity.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) patients have been reported to have low magnesium levels, and research has shown improved symptoms in some patients who have taken oral magnesium supplements such as magnesium asporotate.

Magnesium asporotate is taken orally as a dietary supplement. It is usually sold in 200mg capsules to be taken 2 at a time, twice a day with meals.
